Focusrite USB Drivers release notes (Windows):
-Fixed problem with MIDI data being dropped or out of sync (in particular when using devices which send Running Status data to the Saffire 6USB).
-Fixed issue where Focusrite ASIO Driver would not show up in DAWs.
If you have had problems seeing the Focusrite ASIO Driver in your DAW then you will need to perform the following actions:
1)Install the Focusrite USB Drivers version 1.7b2
2)Uninstall 1.7b2 (this will clear any setup problems caused by previous installs)
3)Re-install the Focusrite USB Drivers 1.7b2
Customers who use the Novation ASIO drivers for audio via the Xio, X-station, nIO or Speedio should note that they will not be able to do so whilst the Saffire 6 USB is installed on their system.

This is a Windows only release which will improve functionality in Windows 7 32bit and 64bit. Saffire hardware users should now not need to use legacy firewire drivers on their systems.
IMPORTANT: Anyone intending on using their unit with a Mac should NOT download this beta test release as the firmware update will render their unit incompatible with earlier builds. Only download this version if you would like to test the Windows driver update.

-The transformer loading on the Liquid preamps could cause some level problems with certain microphones. There is now a per channel option in the settings menu to switch this loading off.

These are further samples taken from the above compressors at various different settings.
The files can be transferred to the Liquid channel using the Liquid Control software.
It should be noted that a limited number of emulations can be present on the Liquid Channel at any one time. Some users may find it necessary to backup then remove certain emulations from the unit to allow enough free space for new ones.

KNOWN ISSUES
- Upgrading to Windows XP Service Pack 3 removes Microsoft hotfix 885222 which resolved a Firewire 800 bandwidth issue caused by Service Pack 2 effecting users with 1394b Firewire cards. Microsoft have released a new hotfix for Windows XP SP3 users which can be downloaded here, and rectifies the problem:

Special info for Cubase 4 Intel Mac Users: Cubase 4 does not support VST 2.3 plugins. You will need to download LiquidMix-VST2.4-2.2.dmg and install the LiquidMix VST2.4 plugins over the top of your existing LiquidMix 2.2 installation in order to use LiquidMix with Cubase 4 on Intel Macs.
